Alice M. Quigley

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Alice M. Quigley, age 91, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 12:45 a.m. in Friendship Manor, Nashville, Ill.

Alice was born on June 19, 1918 in Collinsville, Ill., a daughter to Marion and Margaret (Airola) Gasperin. On Feb. 10, 1939, she married Myron A. Quigley and he preceded her in death on Oct.18, 1960. In her lifetime, she had worked as the Postmaster for the United States Postal Service in Swanwick, Ill., had been a member of the Swanwick Pinochle Club and the Coulterville V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary and enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors include her son, Larry (Susan) Quigley of New Athens, Ill.; a daughter, Beverly (Larry) Wilks of Pinckneyville, Ill; six grandchildren, Becky (Tracy) Young, Chad (Jennifer) Quigley, Alicia (Mike) Millikin, Justin (Sena) Wilks, Jordan Wilks and Sarah Quigley; 15 great-grandchildren, Chyanne, Sonnie, Ellie and Kadie Young, Brock and Olivia Quigley, Kayla, Jenna and Landon Millikin, Christian, Samuel, Sophia and Nathaniel Wilks and Jaden and Gavin Wilks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Stephen Quigley and Daryl Quigley; one granddaughter, Angela Quigley and one brother, Leonard Gasperin.

Funeral services were held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday April 9, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Tim Bauersachs officiating. Interment was in Bethel Cemetery, Swanwick, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Friday April 9, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
