</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Paul D. Lappe, 31, of Friedheim, MO died April 4, 2010 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

The son of Dennis G. and Marsha (Bollinger) Lappe of Friedheim, MO, he was born in Cape Girardeau, MO on Feb. 13, 1979.

He and Amanda N. (Elam) Lappe were married on July 20, 2002.

Survivors include his wife of Friedheim, MO; one daughter, Madison I. Lappe and one son, Benjamin P. Lappe, both at home; mother & father-in-law, David E. & Barbara (Zeigler) Elam of Chester, IL; maternal grandfather, Joe (Irene) Bollinger of Fredericktown, MO; maternal grandmother, Betty McLain of Cape Girardeau, MO; one sister, Jackie (Gabriel) Putz of Oak Ridge, MO; one sister-in-law, Melinda Elam of Chester, IL; two brothers-in-law-Mike Crain of Chester, IL and Les (Effaney) Crain of Benton, IL; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer & Regina Lappe.

Mr. Lappe was a truck driver for Buchheit Ag Division in Biehle, a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, RiverHills Antique Tractor Club and Cape County Coon Hunters.

Funeral services were held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, April 9, 2010 with Rev. Ron Coleman & Rev. Tony Dattilo co-officiating. Burial was in the St. Maurus Catholic Church Cemetery in Biehle, MO.

Memorials are preferred to Family use.
