"We cut way down on on our walks and only had one error," Elverado coach Donette Wheatley said. "And we spread out seven hits but it just wasn't enough. We 've just to got to play with more confidence to win."

The Lady Falcons had two hits from freshman Corrine Wilson with Chelsea Cochran smashing a bases loaded triple.

Courtney Morse, Kelsey Tuthill, Rachel Hunziker and Kelsi Teague added hits.

Teague was handed the pitching defeat.

Also at Vienna Tuesday, the Fighting Falcons dropped a 12-0 baseball decision.
