Details of Rollover Accident Released
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[<span style="">The Perry County Sheriff's Department Friday morning released details on single vehicle traffic crash the occurred this past Sunday evening.</span>
<span style="">Danielle M. Swayne, 34, of Du Quoin was cited with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to wear a seat belt.</span>
<span style="">Deputies say that Swayne was driving east on East Park Street road, just east of Brickyard road, when she swerved to avoid a deer.</span>
<span style="">She ran off the road, hit a guardrail and proceeded down a steep embankment,</span>
<span style="">Swayne was extricated from the vehicle by Du Quoin Fire Department personnel and transported to Marshall Browning Hospital. The investigation continues.</span>
<span style="">Besides Du Quoin firefighters and the sheriff's department, local responders included Du Quoin City Police and Du Quoin EMS.</span>
