Bulldogs dominate at Benton

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sparta&#39;s boys track team turned in some impressive performances at last week&#39;s Chuck Oyler Invitational in Benton. Sparta topped a strong 15 team field with 138 points. Nashville took second with 86.

Relay teams were major contributors to the point total as Sparta picked up wins in the 400 in 44.4, the 800 in 1:32.2 and the 3200 in 8:26.9. Individual wins came from Cody Klein in the pole vault with a mark of 16&#39;0", Jon Hill in the 1600 meters in 4:37.9 and Maurice Austin in the 200 in 22.9.

Second place finishes went to the 1600 meter relay team in 3:36, Austin in the 100 in 11.3, Dustin Neff in the 1600 in 4:49, Tyler Bierman in the 300 meter hurdles in 41.5 and Corey Hale in the discus with a throw of 150&#39;11". Sparta also grabbed third place in the high jump when Klein went 5&#39;10"
