Lillian Beryl Riggio

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lillian Beryl Riggio, 99, of Du Quoin, passed away at 8:45 p.m., Thursday, April 29, 2010 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

Beryl was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Du Quoin.

She was born Oct. 6, 1910 at Nashville, Ill., the daughter of William and Rose Ella (Whittenberg) Seyler.

She married Frank Riggio on April 11, 1936 at Marion, IL and he preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 1973.

She is survived by three children - Nadine Mason and husband Bill, Judy Fred and husband Don and Jerry Riggio and wife Sabra, all of Du Quoin; one sister - Vivian Schilling of Winter Haven, Fla.; three granddaughters - Kathy Beard and husband Lybrand, Anita Gross and husband Clyde and Jody Fred, all of Du Quoin; four grandsons - Steve Fred and wife Kristi of Du Quoin, Tim Fred and wife Debbie of Wichita, Kans., Michael Mason and wife Donna of Du Quoin and Cody Somers and wife Stacey of Du Quoin; seven great granddaughters - Pamela Pursell and husband Eddie of Du Quoin, Jessica Babarskas and husband Chris of Chicago, Ill., Kristen Fred of Wichita, Kans., Elizabeth Gross of Du Quoin, Samantha Gross of Du Quoin, Allie Fred of Du Quoin and Carley Somers of Du Quoin; five great grandsons - Derek Beard and fiance Tiffanie Finnie of Du Quoin, Trenton Fred of Carlinville, Ill., Jonathon Mason of Du Quoin, Matthew Mason of Du Quoin and Brenden Fred of Du Quoin and one great great granddaughter - Addison Renee&#39; Pursell of Du Quoin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers - Harry Seyler, Walter Seyler, and Edgar Seyler, four sisters - Mable Pulliam, Mildred Springs, Iona Smith, and Velva Evans, one brother in infancy, and three sisters in infancy.

Funeral services were at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Michael Ebersohl officiating.

Friends called from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the First United Methodist Church in Du Quoin and will be accepted at the funeral home.
