Chester Boy's Basketball Camp June 7-8

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[CHS Boy's Basketball Coach, Robert Bell, and several of his current Yellow Jacket players will host a basketball camp for all boys who will be entering grades 3-8 for the 2010-2011 school year.

The camp is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, June 7-8. Camp starts each day ay 9:00 a.m. and runs until 12 noon.

The focus of the training will be on learning basic defensive skills, passing, dribbling and screening along with shooting skills and techniques. Camp will give players the opportunity to learn basic fundamentals of basketball as well as the skills, terminology and the requirements of playing various positions.

Each day campers will have the opportunity to take part in numerous contests and there will be prizes awarded at the end of each workout. Each participant will also receive a 2010 CHS Basketball Camp T-Shirt at the end of final day of camp.

Campers should wear shorts, T-Shirts and either tennis shoes or basketball footwear to the individual sessions. The cost of the two-day camp is only $25.00, however, Coach Bell does not want the cost to keep any prospective camper from attending the event, so alternative payment arrangements can be made if necessary.

Pre-registration is not necessary and will take place the morning of the first day of camp. Coach Bell and his staff will conduct the registration process as campers arrive. For more information please call the Chester High School Office at 826-2302.
