Costello announces General Dynamics receives army contract

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[U.S. Congressman Jerry Costello (D-IL) announced today that General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, Inc., located in Marion, has been awarded a $9,336,321.54 contract modification by the U.S. Army. The contract modification is for the procurement of 25mm projectile, gun unit cartridges. The work will be performed in Marion.

"This is important work that supports our armed forces and the economy in Southern Illinois," said Costello. "I will continue to support these efforts."
