She is one of countless men and women in Southern Illinois who have benefited from programs and services made available through funds raised at the American Cancer Society (ACS) Relay For Life events in our region.
"The American Cancer Society has been there for me when I needed help the most," says Cameron. "ACS provided me transportation assistance to and from my cancer treatments in Belleville, which is 120 miles round trip."
"I would recommend any person who is diagnosed with cancer to contact the American Cancer Society right away. They helped me in more ways than I could count."
Transportation assistance options are available for cancer related appointments through various programs.
