Evansville bridge reduced to one lane starting July 19

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that the bridge carrying Illinois Route 3 over the Kaskaskia River at Evansville will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday, July 19, 2010. Traffic signals will be in place to direct motorists. This bridge lane closure is required to allow the contractor to remove and replace the bridge bearings and the driving surface. Work should be completed by August 30, 2011. The contractor on this project is St. Louis Bridge Construction Company of Arnold, Missouri.
