Sparta Police Department flashlight walk

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Sparta Police Department would like to invite the citizens of Sparta to participate in our flashlight walk which will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 7 p.m.

The walk will begin from the east pavilion at the city park (fairgrounds) and end back at this location. The walk (not a race) will cover about two miles and is open to all persons who would enjoy a little exercise and a chance to visit with friends and neighbors. The route will be: Belmont to St. Louis; St. Louis to Jackson; Jackson to Market; Market to Broadway; Broadway to Oak; and Oak to the fairgrounds.

At the conclusion of the walk, soft drinks and water will be provided, and drawings for prizes will be held.
