St. John has been blessed to have a new pastor

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[St. John has been blessed to have a new pastor, Peter Ill to join Rev. Mark Willig in the pastoral ministry of St. John. Peter graduated from Concordia Seminary St. Louis in May 2010. He is originally from Millington, Michigan near Frankenmuth. He married his wife Carrie in July of 2006 at her home congregation in Munster, Indiana. He vicared at Zion Lutheran Church in Clark, New Jersey. Peter will begin his pastoral duties at St. John in Chester on August 1. The community is invited to Peter Ill's ordination on Sunday, August 1 at 3:00 p.m. A potluck reception will be held at the Parish Hall following his ordination. Meat, dessert, and drinks will be furnished; please bring a side dish to share. Peter is excited to be in Chester and be a part of the community.
