</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Nora Louise Favier, 99, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 1:35 a.m., Monday, August 2, 2010 at St. Ann's Healthcare Center, Chester, Illinois.
Nora was born to the late Harmon and Anna (nee Wulff) Fricke on December 26, 1910 at Welge, Illinois.
Nora married Joseph Roy Favier on April 20, 1930 at Cross Town, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on March 6, 1987.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester and Blessed Virgin Mary Altar Sodality. Nora and her husband were wonderful dancers and are remembered for their love of a good waltz. She loved her flower beds, vegetable garden, bingo, card playing and a good yard sale. She loved her family very much and she raised her children in the home she was born in.
Survivors include eight children: Mary (Frank) Montilione of St. Louis, MO; Joan Varadin of Swansea, IL; Doris (Tom) Loftin of St. Peters, MO; Don (Diane) Favier of Fenton, MO; Cathy (Tom) Sauer of Chester, IL; Renee (Dennis) Whittenburg of Chester, IL; Joseph Favier of Chester, IL; and David Favier of Chester, IL; one daughter-in-law: Mary Favier of High Ridge, MO; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: parents, husband - Joseph, one son - Gary Favier, two grandchildren - Mark and Robert Loftin, and one son-in-law - Tom Varadin.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 am, Friday, August 6, 2010 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chester, Illinois with Father Gene Wojcik officiating. Interment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Chester, Illinois. Visitation: Thursday, 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. & Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois.
Memorials may be given to St. Mary Catholic School.
