Grand Jury to Convene Aug. 25

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[A judge's order was entered late last week to convene a Perry County Grand Jury on August 25.

The Grand Jury will consider any evidence in cases presented to it by the office of Perry County State's Attorney David Stanton.

The Grand Jury is tentatively scheduled to meet for one day, but could deliberate longer.

The Grand Jury could hear evidence in the Sidnee Stephens murder case. The request for a Grand Jury comes in the aftermath of three arrests in that case.
