June Catherine Perardi
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[June Catherine Perardi, 82, of Du Quoin, and formerly of Lewistown, passed away at 9:45 a.m. Monday Aug. 9, 2010 at Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.
She was born June 20, 1928 at Cuba, Ill., the daughter of Joseph and May (Christy) Jackson. She married Steven Perardi on June 20, 1947 at Lewistown. He survives with one son, David (Dana) Perardi of Du Quoin; one daughter, Stephanie (Larry) Lemke of Peoria; one granddaughter, Jill (Phil) Biazzo of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Carol Sue Schenck of Birmingham, Ala. She was preceded by her parents, and three brothers.
June was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Du Quoin, and a member of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution Lewistown Chapter. She enjoyed family, cross stitching, and bowling.
Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday Aug. 12, 2010 at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown, with Reverend Danie deBeer officiating. Visitation was held Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Memorial home. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown.
