</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Vernon Ruebke, 72, of Steeleville, passed away at 10:15 A.M. Wednesday, August 18, 2010, at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, IL.

Funeral services were held Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Sparta, IL. Father Benjamin Stern will be officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, IL

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, TIP Hospice or for Masses.
