Sharon Renee Baumann

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Sharon Renee Baumann, age 34 of Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010 in Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Sharon was born on Nov. 7, 1975 in Du Quoin, Ill., a daughter to James Edward and Lorraine (Happold) Baumann. She worked as a lab technician at Gilster Mary Lee, Steeleville, Ill. for 12 years. Sharon was of the Baptist faith and a 1993 graduate of Du Quoin High School. She loved reading and collecting books, listening to music and watching game shows. Sharon will be fondly remembered for her friendly, outgoing personality. She never met a stranger and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother, Lorraine Baumann of Du Quoin, Ill.; one brother, Chad Allen (Chrystal) Baumann of Du Quoin, Ill.; one sister, Tracy Ray (Auggie) Williams of Middleton, Wis. ; significant other, Louis Licka, II of Du Quoin, Ill.; parents of Louis, Lou and Bev Licka of Buncombe, Ill. and Sue and Dave Triska of Marion, Ill.; 17 nieces and nephews; and many dear aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and father, James Edward Baumann.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Sharon's wishes were to be cremated.

Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. is in charge of the arrangements.
