McDaniel's 35 paces Lady Panthers

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Pinckneyville's Lady Panthers golf team cruised to a 16-stroke victory over visiting Carterville on Tuesday at Red Hawk Country Club behind a brilliant round from sophomore Heather McDaniel, who shot 35 (-1) for her round of 9 holes to earn the individual medal.

Kelsey Cicardi shot a 40, Olivia Mathis 53, and Mo Ramsey 56 to round out the scoring for the Lady Panthers, who shot 184 as a team.

Dana Kaufman and Adrian Brown led Carterville (2-2) with rounds of 44, the Lady Lions shot 200 collectively.

The Lady Panthers (3-2) are back in action Friday as PCHS hosts the Lady Panther Invitational at Red Hawk C.C. Nine teams are expected to compete for team honors, individual medalists will also be recognized.
