Appellate Court uphold Roye's conviction

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Randolph County State's Attorney Office is in receipt of an order from the 5th District Appellate Court regarding the case of the People vs. Michael Roye. In a 50 page decision, the Appellate Court has upheld the conviction of Mr. Roye. Roye was found guilty of first degree murder on April 12, 2008 by a Randolph County jury. Roye was sentenced to 60 years in the Department of Corrections.
