The awards presentation occurred at a reception on August 23rd at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch in downtown St. Louis. Pictured with Reitz is Martha Smith, a representative of Monsanto.
"Rep. Reitz was a strong advocate for economic development legislation this year, working with legislators on both sides of the aisle," Smith said. "He has always been a leader on agricultural issues and also supported the Flood Prevention District Act, allowing the Metro East to avoid restrictions on the use of state money for the development of critical care facilities."
Reitz represents all or parts of St. Clair, Monroe, Randolph and Perry counties.
