VOLLYBALL: PCHS beats A-J for sixth victory

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Maddy Keith and Haley Simpson each had 8 kills for the Lady Panthers as Pinckneyville topped Herrin 25-20, 25-16 in volleyball action last night at Thomas Gymnasium.

Keith also had 4 kill blocks as PCHS improved to 6-9 on the 2010 season.

Lindsey Winter added 10 assists for the Lady Panthers, Katie Duvardo had the most digs with 9.

Pinckneyville is in action again on Tuesday night, taking to the road as they face Du Quoin at 7:30 p.m. to being a five-game stretch off away games for the varsity squad.

The next scheduled home game for PCHS doesnt come until October 7 when they host Du Quoin.
