BASEBALL: St. Bruno-Tamaroa wins conference

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ St. Bruno-Tamaroa completed a perfect 15-0 baseball regular season on Monday, getting the better of Okawville 8-2 on the road behind a 4-for-5 effort at the plate from Adam Banach, who scored 3 runs and drove in 2 others.

Nolan Luke was 2-for-5 (2 R, RBI), Brock Bullar 2-5 (R, RBI), Nolan Bruns 1-4 (RBI), Andy Opp 1-4 (RBI) and Jackson Brand 1-3.

On Saturday, SB-T claimed a 7-4 victory over Creal Springs, clinching the Quad County conference championship for 2010.

Cole Bigham pitched all 7 innings, striking out 10 in the win.

Tyler Rulevish led the way in that contest with a 1-for-2 with 2 BB, scoring 3 runs and driving in another. Luke was 2-4 (R, 3 RBI), Banach 2-3 (R, 2 RBI), Bullar 1-3 (R, RBI), Opp 2-3, Brand 1-2 (R).

In other team news, Luke and Bullar were named to the All-Conference team, while in softball, Kaylee Rulevish and Jordan Bullar were placed on the team for St. Bruno-Tamaroa.
