One killed in accident in Chester

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[On September 15, 2010 at approximately 7:40 p.m, Chester Police were called to the scene of a traffic accident on Route 3, one-quarter mile north of Bodes Lane. According to a witness, a southbound Chevy Tahoe, driven by 25-year-old Michael "Blaine" Mulholland of Chester, veered into the northbound lane and struck a northbound 2009 Ford Escape. The driver of the Ford Escape was identified as 49-year-old Roger Kipp of Ellis Grove. Both Muholland and Kipp were reportedly injured and taken to Memorial Hospital in Chester. The Coroner's office later informed Chester Police that Kipp had expired as a result of his injuries.

Randolph County States Attorney Randy Rodewald on Monday stated he had not seen any paperwor at this the time regarding the matter,

"Based upon a convesation on what information Chester Police Chief Ryan Coffey, and knowing the good work that he produces I anticpate there will be formal charges"

Police have charged Michael Muholland with Driving While License Revoked and Driving Under the Influence.
