Parole police compliance check conducted in Randolph County

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ A Parole Police Compliance Check was conducted on September 21, 2010 in Randolph County . Agencies participating in the compliance checks were Illinois Department of Corrections (IDOC), Randolph County Sheriff's Office, Chester , Coulterville, Steeleville, Sparta , and Red Bud Police Departments. There are currently 22 parolees residing in Randolph County.

Sixteen of those parolees were brought into the Randolph County Sheriff's Office for the compliance check. Of those 16, three of them tested positive for illegal drug use. Three Illinois Department of Corrections warrants were issued with one parolee being arrested on an outstanding IDOC warrant. Two parolees were arrested on new drug charges.
