GOLF: Lady Panthers pick up road win over Red Bud
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Facing one of the area's top girls' teams, Heather McDaniel led Pinckneyville to a 187-200 victory at Red Bud on Tuesday as four Lady Panthers shot in the 40's.
McDaniel shot 41 to post the day's best score. Alexis Anderson followed for Pinckneyville with a round of 48, Kelsey Cicardi 49, and Olivia Mathis 49 to complete the Lady Panthers' team score.
Brooke Heisner (54) and Claire Wittenauer (66) also participated for PCHS.
The Lady Panthers take on West Frankfort and Herrin on Wednesday afternoon with the IHSA Girls' Regional set for next Wednesday, October 6 at Red Hawk Country Club.
The IHSA Boys' Regional takes place the day before at Union County Golf Course.
