Reitz receives Illinois Optometric Association Legislator of the Year award

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[State Rep. Dan Reitz (D-Steeleville) received the Illinois Optometric Association Legislator of the Year Award for his work to help serve the needs of optometric patients.

"It is an honor to receive this award from Illinois' esteemed optometrists," Reitz said. "I strive to be a strong voice for the optometric profession in the General Assembly, and I am pleased that my work has helped optometrists throughout the state provide quality care to their patients."

The awards presentation occurred during the Illinois Optometric Association's 2010 convention on Friday September 17, 2010 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Springfield. Pictured with Reitz are James Morphew, Dr. Dennis Brtva, and Dr. Robert Quilleash.
