Drs. Skelly and Camp to Speak at Healthy Woman
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[It's common for a daughter to inherit her mother's physical characteristics. But is it common for a woman to inherit a gene for breast cancer? On Thursday, October 21st, Dr. Stephanie Skelly, Gynecologist, and Dr. Linda Camp, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgeon, will present "You've Got Your Mothers… Breast Cancer?" at the free Healthy Woman event being held at Red Bud Regional Hospital from 6:30-7:30 pm.
Keynote speakers, Dr. Skelly and Camp will discuss BRCA1 & BRCA2 genetic testing, diagnoses of breast cancer, and surgical options for breast reconstructive surgery. Women who have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, women who have a relative who has been diagnosed with breast cancer and women wanting to learn more about symptoms and testing are encouraged to attend this free event.
