Scouting for food: Boy Scouts of America annual food drive

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The area Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America will be conducting their annual 'Scouting for Food' Saturday, November 13 by placing door hangers and then returning November 20 to pick up the bags of food donated.

All food collected goes directly to our local food banks and food pantries. The Boy Scouts of America emphasizes the importance of helping others. Doing a good turn daily and community service are cornerstones of our program. Over the last 25 years, scouts have collected more than 40 million cans of food.

Please help the scouts make this another great year for their food drive. Please place items in the bags by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 20 so that they don't miss any donations. Thanks in advance from your local Cub Scouts Pack 316, Boy Scout Troops 305, 347 and 316.
