WRESTLING: Murphysboro claims win at PCHS
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[In the PCHS wrestling home opener for 2010-11, Murphysboro came out on top of the host Panthers 60-9 Thursday night at Thomas Gymnasium.
The Red Devils received six wins via forfeit, another four on the mat while Pinckneyville's Devon Schubert (135 lb.) and Tanon Leonard (171 lb.) picked up victories in their respective weight classes for the Panthers.
Schubert pinned Jordan Landewee in 4:44, Leonard defeated Drew Hopkins on points 6-3.
PCHS's next wrestling meet is this Saturday when the Panthers travel to Litchfield.
