BASKETBALL: Trico stays unbeaten with win over Falcons

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Trico remained undefeated on the season with an 80-28 victory over Elverado on Saturday behind 17 points from Chase Heins and 11 from Taylor Pyatt.

The Pioneers (8-0, 2-0) had a 21-0 run from the end of the first quarter to midway through the second to pull away from the Falcons by halftime.

Casey Hicks led the Falcons with 7 points, Daltun Hasty and Sean Harrison each added 6, Dalton Porter 5 and Kyle Whittington 2.

Elverado (1-3, 1-2) is off until December 27 when they take part in the Sesser Holiday Tournament.
