Chester High School senior parents will meet Sunday evening January 23 to begin the final round of planning for the Class of 2011 Project Graduation. The meeting will take place in the CHS Cafeteria and all parents are strongly encouraged to attend the gathering.
Project Graduation Coordinator, Dr. Jim Beers, notes that the meeting will last for no longer than 1-hour and that most likely it will be adjourned prior to that time period. Sub-committee chair persons should be prepared to update the group on the progress of various work and fund-raising efforts.
CHS graduation is only approximately four months away on Sunday May 29th. The Project Graduation Parent Committee has several important fund-raisers coming up in the coming weeks. It is extremely important for all senior parents to "get on board" and help to make the 2011 Project Graduation a huge success.
The primary goal of Project Graduation is to keep graduating seniors safe and sound at the all-night, drug and alcohol-free party on graduation night. Anyone with questions or comments can contact Dr. Beers at (618) 826-2302, ext. 306; (618) 615-2721 or (618) 826-5135.
