Chester Women's Club hold Christmas Luncheon

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[CHESTER - Members of the Chester Women's Club and their guests met Friday, December 10 at the Chester Country Club for the annual Christmas luncheon meeting. Guests included Lydia Smith, Nancy Buskohl, Jo Koeneman, Donna Sauerhage, Jeanne Eastridge and Patty Wester.

A table blessing was given by Joan Montroy, followed by a luncheon served by the women of the country Club.

The afternoon program was presented by the Chester High School Swing Choir, under the direction of Steve Colonel. They sang "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas", Mele Kalikimaka", "Linus & Lucy" and musical excerpts from "The Grinch".

Poinsettias which decorated the tables were won by Marlene Seymour, Frances DeRousse, Ruth Kruse, Jo Koeneman, Carole Abernathy, Norma Baughman, Marsha Link, Cynthia Lawder, Caroline Wylie and Toni Hosick.

The next meeting of the Chester Women's Club will be held Friday, January 28, 2011, beginning at 1 p.m. at the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church. Hostesses for the meeting will be Cynthia Lawder, Mary Ann Koeneman, Dotty Fleming, Mary Alice Welge, Mary Beck, Betty Wheatley, Joan Jany and Pam Fraley. The program on Arts & Crafts, will be presented by the Mississippi Valley Art Guild. All members are encouraged to attend.
