Publish your manuscript workshop

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Southern Illinois author, Edmond DeRousse will present "Publish Your Manuscript Workshop" at the Chester Public Library on Tuesday, February 8 at 6:30 p.m.

DeRousse's book , "The Adventures of a Common Man", was released January 2010. While promoting the book, he discovered that many people have written things and would like to share them with the world, but did not know how to proceed or had been unsuccessful in their attempt. The "Publish Your Manuscript Workshop" was developed to answer many of the questions the author was asked about how the process actually works. Topics will include: what are the motivations for publishing, how do you get started, and what happens after publication occurs. Everyone attending will leave inspired with practical knowledge about the publishing process as well as links to actual publishers. Mr. DeRousse has presented this workshop, most recently, at the Mt. Vernon Teacher Conference and Sparta Public Library.
