Destiny Williams wins Elks Hoop Shoot

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Destiny Williams, Chester Grade School 3rd grader, advanced to the State Level Competition of the 2010-2011 Elks Hoop Shoot. The event will be held in Decatur, Illinois. To advance to the State Finals Williams made 21-out-of-25 free throws at the Regional Competition held in Murphysboro, Illinois earlier this fall. Williams is a student in Mrs. Koeneman's class at CGS and enjoys playing basketball on a regular basis. When asked what she likes about basketball Destiny remarked, "I like the thrill of seeing the ball go through the hoop". Coaches at CGS look forward to having Williams join the school basketball program once she reaches 5th grade and she can officially play for the Lady Jr. Jackets.
