Lochhead becomes 8th member of CHS 1000-Point Club

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lochhead becomes 8th member of CHS 1000-Point Club. Chester High School senior, Zach Lochhead, became the 8th member of the CHS 1000-Point Club last week Tuesday February 8 in the game at Christopher. With just 5:53 to go in the second quarter Lochhead connected on a jump shot to score his 1000th point as a Chester Yellow Jacket Basketball player. The accomplishment has not been met since 1988 when Jason Ohlau hit his 1000th point. Lochhead is only the 8th person to accomplish this feat. Pictured here is Lochhead (left) and Scott bridges, another prestigious member of the Yellow Jacket 1000-point Club. Bridges made a presentation of a game ball from the 1000th point made at Christopher. The presentation took place Saturday February 12 at halftime of the 2011 Black Diamond Shootout hosted at CHS. Jennifer Knowles, the ONLY girl to ever achieve this feat. She is in a club of her own. She is also the 9th OVERALL Chester basketball player to ever achieve this 1000-point platueau
