Memorial Hospital hosts Go Red For Women Event
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Memorial Hospital in Chester hosted its annual Go Red For Women event Tuesday evening, February 22 at the Chester Country Club. The event is held in conjunction with National Heart Awareness Month in February.
A sold-out crowd of women attended the event and dinner was catered by the country club.
The featured speaker was Raffi K. Krikorian, M.D. Cardiologist, who conducts an outpatient cardiology clinic at Memorial Hospital in Chester every week. He is on staff at Missouri Baptist Medical Center and DesPere Hospital, both of St. Louis. Dr. Krikorian's topic was "Update On Vein Disease in Women: Common But Often Overlooked". The second topic of the evening was presented by staff at Memorial's Physical Therapy & Wellness Center. Their topic was "Stress Relief Reduction" . Taking part in that segment were Debra Rohlfing, Registered/Licensed Occupational Therapist and the Director of the PTWC; and Misty Conway, Anita McDonough, Jamie Hartmann and Sandra Hamilton, all Physical Therapist Assistants.
Attendance prizes were presented at the conclusion of the evening.
