Anna Ernestine Rednour

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Anna Ernestine "Ernie" Rednour, age 85 of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at 10:20 a.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Ernie was born on April 30, 1925 in Perry County, Ill., a daughter to Vernon and Nettie (Marlow) Bird. On July 30, 1941, she married Lyman "Slim" Rednour in Pinckneyville, Ill. and he preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1993. Ernie was a member of Beaucoup Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, tending her flowers and dearly loved spending time with her family.

Ernie is survived by two sons, Russell (Dianna) Rednour and Bill Rednour all of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two daughters, Sue (Larry) Zettler of Sesser, Ill. and Barb (Butch) Rogers of Pinckneyville, Ill.; one sister, Evelyn (Dean) Crumbacher of Pinckneyville, Ill.; one sister-in-law, Lois Bird of Biloxi, Miss.; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Paul, Norman and Orville; one sister, Madge and her favorite dog, Lady.

Funeral services were held at Oak Grove Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Rob Mathis officiating. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends called at Oak Grove Baptist Church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery.
