Billy Don McClurken

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Billy Don McClurken, age 54, of Pinckneyville, Ill. passed away on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 in Memorial Hospital of Carbondale, Carbondale, Ill.

Billy was born on Sept. 5, 1956 in Du Quoin, Ill., a son to Clyde W. and Kathaleen (Livingston) McClurken. He was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a laborer. Billy loved being outdoor, especially spending time in the woods, he also enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting and identifying different plants he found in the woods.

Billy is survived by his children, Clay McClurken of South Fulton, Tenn., Tara Anderson(Keith Hubler) Pinckneyville, Ill., Randy Hester of Pinckneyville, Ill., Rachel Wiggers of Mt. Sterling, Ill. and Gretchen Winters of Freeburg, Ill.; one sister, Myrna (Sam) Robb of Pinckneyville, Ill.; 12 grandchildren, Alexis and Caitlyn Anderson of Pinckneyville, Ill., Kaleb Hubler of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Jayden, Ryleigh and William McClurken of South Fulton, Tenn., Zack Hester of Pinckneyville, Ill., Jordon and Olivia Wiggers of Mt. Sterling, Ill. and Madeline, Trenton and Brandon Winters of Freeburg, Ill., three nieces, Jodee Caupert, Fahran Robb and Makahla Shurtz and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Linda.

Graveside services were held at Oak Grove Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Sam Higgerson officiating. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill. Family and friends were asked to go directly to the cemetery.
