Fleta M. Eubanks
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Fleta M. Eubanks, 93, of Du Quoin, passed away at 9:20 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.
She was a homemaker. She was also babysitter and did house cleaning. She was a housekeeper for the Hayes Family for several years. She enjoyed embroidering and making baby quilts.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Du Quoin.
Fleta was born Sept. 15, 1917 at Sunfield, Ill. the daughter of Luther and Eva (Jones) Bailey.
She first married Courtland Goodwin and he preceded her in death. She then married Richard E. Eubanks on Feb. 17, 1968 at Du Quoin and he preceded her in death in 1991.
She is survived by two daughters-in-law- Wanda Thorpe and Karen Goodwin, both of Du Quoin, sister- Frances Slater and husband Gene of Sunfield, five grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, three sons- Charles Goodwin, Larry Goodwin and Dennis Goodwin.
Graveside services were at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin with Darrell Thorpe officiating.
Those attending the services were asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Burial was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the Fair Acres Nursing Home and will be accepted at the nursing home or the funeral home.
