She was born to the late William J. and Lorene Marie (nee Buatte) Kriete on August 8, 1937 on Kaskaskia Island, IL.

Peggy was an office worker at Prince Gardner in St. Mary, MO.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Illinois. She was an avid gardener.

Survivors: 1 Sister: Wanda (Robert) Cissell Crystal City, MO; 2 Brothers: William (Jackie) Kriete Maryland Heights, MO, Richard (Linda) Kriete Steeleville, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Cousins and Friends

Preceded in death by: Parents and 2 Sisters - Willa Doza and Marlene Huck

Funeral Service was helad at 10:00 am, Friday, March 25, 2011 at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Illinois

Officiating: Rev. Mark Willig and Rev. Fred Campbell

Interment: St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Chester, Illinois

Visitation was held Thursday - 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois and Friday - 9:00 am - 10:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Illinois
