Marchell Rand Bush

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Marchell Rand "Randy" Bush, 53, of Ellis Grove, passed away at 5:45 a.m., Thursday, April 7, 2011 at his aunt's, Linda Merrell, home in Carterville, Ill., where he was with Hospice.

Randy was born at Carbondale Memorial Hospital to Harold M. Bush and Florence (Cox) Bush on Sept. 2, 1957.

He was employed over the years by Intuitions at Carbondale, was a truck driver for Phelps Dodge in Du Quoin, the Illinois Central Railroad and he worked and retired from Menard Correctional Center as a guard for 25 years. He was of the Pentecostal faith.

Randy is survived by a daughter - Mona Marie Martin and husband Matthew of Du Quoin, mother and stepfather - Florence and Richard Spiller of Elkville, sister - Pamela Groves and husband Leroy and niece - Michelle Groves of Carterville. Also surviving are Cindy Guebert of Chester and her two grandchildren - Savanneh and Kyley of Carterville, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, an infant brother, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and step grandparents.

Randy requested to be cremated and that a graveside service be held.

Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery at Chester, Ill.
