Marshall Browning Hosts Living With Diabetes April 27
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin will be hosting a free seminar on "Living With Diabetes." Diabetes is a disease that affects the whole family. Whether you're a parent, sibling or other family member, your support and understanding can make all the difference.
The program will be held on Wednesday, April 27 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the hospital. Gail Peterman, Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator, will be the presenter.
Find out how to better manage your diabetes to avoid complications. Topics to be discussed include: 1) Carbohydrate controlled low fat eating; 2) How to read food labels; 3) Meal planning; 4) How to improve your blood sugar numbers; and 5) Dining out with diabetes.
