Kathy Helmers was selected as employee of the month for April. Kathy started at Chester Mental Health Center in April 1989 as a Office Assistant in the Payroll and Timekeeping Office. In April 1991 she was promoted to the Office Administrator 3 in the Payroll and Timekeeping Office, and in March 2011 was promoted to an Account Technician 2 in the Business Office. Some of the comments in Kathy's nomination are - Kathy is dedicated to her employer. She steps up when needed. She volunteered to enter payroll, ensuring employees at CMHC were paid on time. Kathy willingly stepped in during a time of crisis and chaos, and without complaining or a negative attitude, completed responsibilities of payroll closeout above and beyond her current job criteria. A good example to all.

As employee of the month, Adam, Scott, Tammy and Kathy were able to park in a designated spot and received a $20.00 gift certificate from the T.R.E.E. (Tapping Resources For Employee Excellence) Committee for a local restaurant.
