</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Glenn Allard died April 4, 2011, age 96, at John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Beloved husband of the late Cora Tindall Allard; dear father of the late Barbara (John) Wolshock, and of Joan (David) Griffin, and Gerald (Joan) Allard; loving grandfather of Elaine, Ann, Carol, Ronald, Mark, David, Amanda and Crystal; loving great-grandfather and great-great grandfather; loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.
Glenn was born in Glendale, Illinois, on May 4, 1914 to Harry and Reddy Bruce (nee: Harper) Allard.
He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. He served as a supervisor at Prim Hosiery Mill in Chester, Illinois, and as Director of Public Works for the City of Normandy, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Glenn was a lifetime member of Masonic Lodge #72 in Chester, Illinois, and was a member of Normandy United Methodist Church for many years.
