Lillian M. Bigham

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Lillian M. Bigham, age 73, of Pinckneyville, Ill., passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 6:18 p.m. in St. John's Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.

Lillian was born on July 21, 1937 in Swanwick, Ill., a daughter to Charles A. and Freida (Wylie) Thomas. On April 25, 1958, she married Frank E. Bigham in Union City, Tenn. and he preceded her in death on Feb. 19, 2004. Lillian helped her husband for many years milking cows on the family farm, was an avid Pinckneyville Panther Basketball fan and St. Louis Cardinal fan. She worked as a waitress at both Rosie's Caf&#233; and Bert's Caf&#233; years ago and was actively involved in the Perry County Fair, especially the Home Show. Lillian enjoyed gardening and selling her beautiful spring flowers from her home on Main Street, playing bingo and loved caring for her grandchildren.

Lillian is survived by one son, Frank A. (Tania) Bigham of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two daughters, Ilene Ruroede (Brian Mayer) of Pinckneyville, Ill. and Tibretta (Randy) Reiman of Pinckneyville, Ill.; three brothers, Gerald (Mary) Thomas of Pinckneyville, Ill., Bob (Sheila) Thomas of St. Louis, Mo. and Donald (Mary Ann) Thomas of Pinckneyville, Ill.; two sisters, RoJean Zielinski of Troy, Mo. and Kathryn (Charles) Terry of Mexico, Mo. and three grandchildren, Jimmie Reiman, Jamie Keller and Megan Keller.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and a brother, Buddy Thomas.

Funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, Ill. on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Kevin Place officiating. Interment was in Galum Presbyterian Cemetery, Pinckneyville, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and then at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
