Community Banking Week celebrated at Buena Vista National Bank
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Buena Vista National Bank recently celebrated Community Banking Week in Illinois with festivities centered on a baseball theme of "Catch the Community Banking Spirit".
Employees decorated their offices, teller areas, and desks with baseball theme items on Monday, Opening Day. Tuesday, bank employees participated by wearing their favorite team cap. The annual health fair in conjunction with Memorial Hospital was held on Wednesday. Thursday, the bank provided Ball Park Franks, chips and beverages for Customer Appreciation Day. Employees celebrated the end of the week by wearing baseball T-shirts, jerseys or uniforms on Friday. Specialty cookies and cup cakes were provided to customers during the entire event along with beverages.
Winners of the random prize drawings for the week were:
Claire Wojcieszak (Age 1 ½) from Edwardsville, IL won the Fisher Price-Baby's first Baseball.
Macey Ludwig (Age 7) and Lucas Rader (Age 8) both from Chester won memberships in the Marion Miner's Kids Club along with a team baseball and snacks.
Grand Prize winners, Kim Juenger of Chester pictured with Bank President, Allen Kaisor and Randy Eckert from Evansville is pictured with Evansville employee, Lisa Lake. Each won a $100 Marion Miners Gift certificate which may be redeemed for tickets, sports apparel, souvenirs or used at the food court.
