Plans underway for River City Fest in?Chester
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Plans are underway for the Chester Tourism Commission's River City Fest to be held on Saturday, June 11, 1-7 PM and Sunday, June 12, 12-4 PM at the Bud Cohen Memorial Home and surrounding area. The event will display the talents of many artisans, the creations of many crafters and the wares of many vendors.
The Commission will offer a tent for children to make a Take-Home craft and there will be balloon animals and a special appearance by 'Coco the Clown'.
A selection of fruit and cheese plates, cold drinks and coffee will be available at the Summer Kitchen. Music will be provided on both days of the event.
In addition to the events at the Cohen Home, Chester businesses are invited to join the River City Fest by offering special hours or Open Houses of their own. The Stone House Bed and Breakfast will be hosting a wine tasting by Kite Hill Vineyards and Moof's Bar and Grill will host a BBQ Cook Off on Saturday. Fanciful Finishes is planning an open house to coincide with the River City Fest.
