St. Johns Board Meets
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The St. Johns Village Board this week discussed drainage problems and street signs.
It was suggested that the board seek a grant to update drainage.
Resident Amanda Hargis asked that the stop sign at the corner of Thorwell and Walnut Streets be replaced. It has been down for approximately six months. The board said the sign will be replaced as soon as possible.
Mayor John Stanhouse will contact County Engineer Doug Bishop about the new street signs mandated by the state.
In other business, the board:
awarded the mowing contract for the village to Keith Harris.
agreed to refund a deposit for use of the Village Hall.
