</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Bill Eyer, 59, of Willisville, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at his home in Willisville, Ill.

He was born Aug. 15, 1951 in Michigan City, Indiana, the son of Jean and Martin Giodiano.

Bill married Janice Hartmann on Oct. 2, 1971 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Willisville, Ill.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Eyer of Willisville, Ill.; children: Terra and Patrick Riley of Du Quoin, Ill. and Jarrett and Rebecca Eyer of Independence, Mo.; grandchildren: Victor, Nathan and Greyson Riley and Darby and Remy Eyer; parents: Martin and Jean Giodiano of Ava, Ill; sister: Mary Birchler of Du Quoin, Ill. and brother: Martin A. and Tina Giodiano of Ava, Ill.

Bill was a Deputy for the Perry County Sheriff's Office and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak.

Funeral services were held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Post Oak with Rev. Kathryn Bielfeldt officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Post Oak.

Visitation was held at St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak, on Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund.
