Larry Nehrkorn

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Larry Nehrkorn, 71, of DuBois, passed away at 12:25 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital in Pinckneyville.

Larry had been a farmer. He was a member of the United Church of Christ.

He was born Nov. 2, 1939 at DuBois, Ill., the son of Arthur L. and Ada (Quinn) Nehrkorn.

He is survived by one brother - David Nehrkorn and wife Beverly of DuBois, three nieces - Christine Smith and husband Jacob of Steeleville, Jennifer Kellerman and husband David Jr. of DuBois and Karen Nehrkorn of DuBois, nephew - Kevin Nehrkorn and fiance Ashley Miller of Tamaroa, one great niece - Lexi Smith of Steeleville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu officiating.

Friends called from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial was in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.
